Eagle Eye Investigation and Security LLC was created near the end of 2023 by two veteran law enforcement officers after seeing a need for experienced and professional investigation and security services in Jones County. James Stiglet and Jared Lindsey have a combination of over 40+ years of law enforcement experience in all areas and numerous hours of training.
James Stiglet has lived in South Jones County his entire life. He is married and the father of 2 daughters. Stiglet graduated from South Jones High School before received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Jones College and beginning his career in law enforcement in 2000. After graduating Stiglet went on to work for the Forrest County Sheriff's Office in Corrections. Stiglet then gained employment with the Laurel Police Department and graduated from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy (MLEOTA) in Pearl, MS in 2004.
In 2008 Stiglet left the Laurel Police Department and went to work for the Jones County Sheriff's Department. While at the Jones County Sheriff's Department Stiglet was a K9 Handler as well as a Shift Supervisor as a Sergeant. Stiglet was also promoted to a Narcotics Investigator Sergeant during his time at the Jones County Sheriff's Department. Stiglet also served as a Contract Agent with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics from 2016-2021. In 2019 Stiglet went to work with the Covington County Sheriff's Office as a Lieutenant over Narcotics as well as assisting with Criminal Investigation while there.
Stiglet returned to the Jones County Sheriff's Department in 2021. Stiglet is currently employed by the Lamar County Sheriff's Department. During his career Stiglet has had numerous hours of training in all aspects of law enforcement. Stiglet also attended class at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco GA.
Jared Lindsey has lived in Northeast Jones County his entire life. He is married and the father of 3 sons. Lindsey graduated from Northeast Jones High School before attending Jones College in 2003 where he graduated with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Lindsey then attended the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005 graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with highest honors. Lindsey also attended William Carey University in 2012 where he graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration with highest honors. Lindsey went to work with the Laurel Police Department in 2006 and graduated from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy (MLEOTA).
Lindsey had previously worked with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department as a Correctional Officer as well. Lindsey went to work for the Jones County Sheriff's Department in 2008. During his time at the Jones County Sheriff's Department Lindsey worked Patrol, as a K9 officer, Patrol Supervisor, and as a Narcotics Investigator until 2023.
Lindsey left the Sheriff's Department in 2023 to take a job with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation. Lindsey was a member of the DEA federal task force from 2014-2016. Lindsey has had numerous hours of training in all aspects of law enforcement, including classes at FLETC and in Quantico, VA. Lindsey also has training and experience in executive protection.
